Project Serve Day
Project Serve Day is a half-day volunteer event held in early September that offers you an opportunity to vounteer with a community organization and challenges you to connect your experience in a tangible way to what you are learning as academics and as citizens.
It is our hope that by participating in Project Serve you will learn more about campus and local involvement opportunities and will be encouraged to continue making a difference in the community in the years to come. In addition, we hope that local agencies and organisations will receive genuine assistance and the chance to both connect with the campus community and recruit new volunteers. This is a great way to discover the amazing sense of community that exists in the City of Guelph, where volunteerism is a integral part of living here.
To register, please visit GryphLife where you'll find up-to-date details on this year's event, including a listing of community placement opportunities.
Team Leaders are and important part of Project Serve Day. If you are looking for some leadership experience, this might be the right opportunity for you!
