Bounce Back
Did first semester get you down?
Get some support this winter!
Bounce Back is a support program offered in the winter semester for students in the first year of their undergraduate degree who earned an average of less than 60% in their first semester. Students who opt-in to the program are matched with a trained upper year student (a staff facilitator) who will work with you one-on-one throughout the winter semester to help turn things around. Facilitators and students work together to focus on better understanding the sources of your fall difficulties, goal-setting, strategies for success and improved motivation. Facilitators also support students to access the network of campus resources that can help build new skills and improve success. Bounce Back has been a popular University of Guelph program since it began in 2007. We encourage you to learn more!
We will also assemble a list of the most improved students for a $1,000 tuition credit for the following year. More information is available here.
Please note: Registration closed at 4pm on Monday, March 18, but help is still available. You can contact the Centre for New Students team at bounce@uoguelph.ca for assistance. We are happy to help!
